FACSPS Scholarship Letters of Thanks

Dear Scholarship Committee,

Timberline High School would like to take this opportunity to thank you for making available funds in the form of scholarships to our students.

Without these opportunities, some of our students might find it difficult to continue their education.

Thank you again.

Dear Ms. Panaligan,

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and the Filipino-American Community of South Puget Sound (FACSPS). I appreciate the enthusiastic support you have all shown for the education of the up coming generation.

Thank you for sharing part of your culture with all of us. I thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment and performances that were so warmly shared with my family and me. We were welcomed with very open arms.

And finally, thank you for the scholarship. I ask that you please extend my thanks to all of the FACSPS members. Once again, thank you for supporting my fellow graduates and I.

Sincerely,
Daniele Judd

To whom it may concern:

As a new college student, I am fast becoming accustomed to debt. No, not in the financial sense. I am more concerned with the fact that there are those out in the world that have given me gifts that I'm currently working hard to pay back. Whether it is my mother for her constant caring and years of invaluable lessons, my friends who have supported me in my decisions and dreams for the future, or for organizations such as FACSPS that have given me the hard resources that will allow me to excel at my current institution, I am forever indebted to the kind and loving people around me.

With this idea in mind, I would like to thank FACSPS for supporting me in a time where my growth and development is most essential. Although I may move on to a new world of college education, I will have a constant reminder of my heritage and ancestry through every action that I perform. And so, in everything I do, I will attempt to honor the advantage your organization has given to this day-dreaming boy from Lacey. Thank you for the opportunity that you have given me.

Sincerely
Nathan Byers

Dear Filipino-American Community:

Thank you so much for your support and contribution to my education and future. I look forward very much to attending the University of Washington and majoring in International Relations this fall. I've been dreaming about college since I was a little girl; however, I never imagined the costs! Every bit helps, and I appreciate your graciousness.
